*Delicious meatballs infused with wine and fresh tomatoes, perfect for a cozy meal. Prep time: 15 minutes, Cook time: 15 minutes, Servings: 4*Ingredients:
- 2½ dl fresh breadcrumbs
- 1¼ dl red wine
- 2 ripe red tomatoes or ½ can of crushed tomatoes
- 1 large finely chopped onion
- 400 g ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons parsley (chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and red wine. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the liquid.
2. Add the chopped onion, diced tomatoes or crushed tomatoes, ground beef, egg, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
4. Shape the mixture into meatballs of your desired size.
5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the meatballs until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
6. Serve warm, paired with salad or rice.
