These delightful lemon donuts are the perfect addition to your spring celebrations. They are soft, zesty, and topped with a sweet lemon glaze.

Serving Size: 12 donuts

Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp poppy seeds

Glaze:

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp water
- (optional) lemon zest for decoration

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease the donut pan.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. Add the yogurt, milk, melted butter, egg, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth.
4. Gently fold in the poppy seeds.
5. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about 2/3 full.
6. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the donuts are golden brown and cooked through.
7. Allow the donuts to cool slightly before glazing.
8. In a bowl, mix the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and water. Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and optionally sprinkle with lemon zest.
