A creamy and tangy lemon dessert, perfect for summer gatherings.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes (plus chilling time)
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 dl heavy cream
- 100 g sugar
- Juice and zest of 2 lemons
- Fresh berries (e.g. strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and sugar over low heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to steam.
2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the lemon juice and zest. Mix well.
3. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then pour it into small serving dishes.
4. Cover the dishes with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 4 hours, or until the mixture has set.
5. Serve the lemon posset topped with fresh berries.
