A refreshing lemon dessert that's perfect for celebrations or everyday indulgence. This chilled treat is easy to make and will impress with its delightful flavor.Preparation Time: 10 minutes + 3 hours chilling
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 ml heavy cream - 300 g sugar
- 100 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (or lime juice)
- Chopped almonds (for garnish)
- Honey or maple syrup (for garnish)
- Grated lemon zest (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly.2. Once the mixture begins to steam, continue to cook while stirring for about 3 minutes.
3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Mix well.
4. Taste the mixture and add more sugar if desired.
5. Divide the mixture into four to six small glasses.
6. Cover the glasses with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least three hours.
7. Before serving, toss the chopped almonds in honey or maple syrup and place on top of each glass.
8. Optionally, grate lemon zest over the glasses for garnish.
