Ingredients

- 4 eggs
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl fine wheat flour
- about 1 tsp baking powder
- butter for greasing the baking paper
Filling:
- 300 g ricotta

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
2. Grease a cake pan with butter and line it with baking paper.
3. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
4. In another bowl, add sugar to the egg yolks and whisk until light and fluffy.
5. Gradually fold in the flour and baking powder into the yolk mixture.
6. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the batter.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake is golden brown.
8. Allow the cake to cool before filling.
9. Whip the ricotta until smooth and spread it over the cooled cake.
10. Slice and serve the cake.
