A delicious macaroni casserole that combines ground beef and blue cheese sauce, making it a rich and tasty weekday meal. Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients
- 400 g macaroni - 1 kg ground beef
- 4 onions
- 4 eggs
- Aromatic salt
- Salt
- Pepper
- ½ beef broth cube
- ½ vegetable broth cube
- 1 packet blue cheese sauce
- 2 dl cooking cream
Instructions
1. Cook the macaroni until almost tender according to the package instructions. Drain the water. 2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet with the onions until the meat is cooked and the onions are soft.
3. In a pot, mix the blue cheese sauce and cooking cream together. Heat the mixture over low heat until warm.
4. Add the eggs and spices to the cooled sauce. Mix well.
5. Combine the cooked macaroni with the beef-onion mixture. Pour the sauce over it and mix until evenly coated.
6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
