Traditional Meatballs

A delicious and filling dish perfect for family dinners, served with mashed potatoes or pasta. Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground beef (or pork)
- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 dl milk
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 dl fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- For browning: oil or butter
Instructions:
1. Place the breadcrumbs in a bowl and pour the milk over them. Let them soak for about 5 minutes.
2. Add the ground meat, onion, egg, salt, black pepper, paprika, and parsley to the bowl. Mix the ingredients until well combined.
3. Shape the mixture into meatballs about the size of a golf ball.
4. Heat oil or butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on both sides until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
5. Serve warm with mashed potatoes or pasta.
