These delicious syrup slice cookies are the perfect snack, quick and easy to make. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, they are a great option to satisfy your sweet tooth. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: About 20 cookies
Ingredients:
- 100 g soft butter or margarine
- 90 g powdered sugar
- 50 g dark syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 0.5 tsp ginger
- 0.25 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 150 g all-purpose flour
Instructions:
1. Place a glass or metal bowl on a kitchen scale and add the butter or margarine first.
2. Add all the other ingredients to the bowl.
3. Set the bowl on a plate with hot water for a moment to soften the butter or margarine.
4. Carefully mix all the ingredients with a fork until you have a smooth dough.
5. Divide the dough into two or three equal parts and roll them into logs.
6. Place the dough logs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten them.
7. Press fork lines into the logs.
8. Bake in the middle of the oven at 175°C (347°F) for 12-15 minutes.
9. Cut into slices immediately and let cool.
