Sautéed Mushroom and Celery Root Patties

Serving size: 4 patties
Ingredients:
- 400 g mushrooms (such as champignon or chanterelles), chopped - 400 g celeriac (or carrots), grated
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 200 ml rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 egg (or plant-based alternative)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Sauté the onion and garlic in oil until softened. 2. Add the chopped mushrooms to the pan and cook until the moisture evaporates.
3. In a bowl, combine the sautéed mushrooms, grated celeriac, rolled oats, flour, egg, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix well.
4. Shape the mixture into patties.
5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties on both sides until golden brown.
6. Serve warm with salad or sauce of your choice.
