Delicious Pasta Carbonara

Ingredients:
- 200 g pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 100 g bacon or pancetta
- 2 eggs
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
2. In a pan over medium heat, cook the bacon or pancetta until crispy. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
3. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper.
4. Once the pasta is cooked, reserve a bit of the cooking water and drain the pasta.
5. Add the hot pasta to the pan with the bacon and garlic. Remove the pan from heat.
6. Quickly mix the egg mixture into the pasta, allowing the eggs to cook slightly without scrambling. If needed, add a bit of reserved cooking water to create a creamy sauce.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
