A delicious savory pancake that's a perfect alternative to sweet ones, and kids will love it! Preparation time is only 30 minutes, and the recipe serves four.
Ingredients:
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 4 dl milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 g grated cheese (such as Emmental or Cheddar)
- 1 dl diced ham or bacon
- 1 dl chopped vegetables (such as bell peppers and onions)
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
2. Add the eggs and milk, and stir until you have a smooth batter.
3. Fold in the grated cheese, ham, and vegetables. Mix well.
4. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
5. Pour the batter into the pan and cook for about 10-15 minutes, until the pancake is golden brown and cooked through.
6. Carefully flip the pancake and cook the other side for another 5-10 minutes.
7. Serve warm and enjoy!
