Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 250 g all-purpose flour - 125 g butter
- 75 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 500 g potatoes
- 200 g sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 100 g grated cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the dough: In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, butter, sugar, egg, and salt. Knead the dough until smooth. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. 2. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Peel and mash them.
3. In a bowl, combine the mashed potatoes with sour cream, eggs, grated cheese, salt, and pepper. Add parsley if desired.
4. Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out into a flat sheet. Line a pie dish with the dough.
5. Pour the potato mixture over the dough and smooth the surface.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
