Ingredients:
- 200 g mushrooms
- 100 g cream cheese
- 2 dl grated cheese (e.g., Emmental)
- 1 small onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 slices of bread (e.g., baguette or rye bread)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
2. Clean and slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and add the onions and garlic. Sauté until soft.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden brown and the moisture has evaporated.
5. Stir in the cream cheese and grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Spread the mushroom mixture over the slices of bread.
7. Bake the bread in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
