Ingredients:
- 12 oz (340g) pasta of your choice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are soft and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Reduce the heat to low, then stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Mix well until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce.
8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
