Fried Vendace Patties with Bacon-Cream Cheese Filling

A delicious fried vendace patty that combines fish with a rich cream cheese filling. Serve with rye bread for a complete meal.Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g vendace- 100 g bacon
- 200 g cream cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Prepare the filling: Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy. Chop it finely and mix with the cream cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.2. Take the vendace and remove any bones from the inside. Season the fish with salt and pepper.
3. Fill each vendace with the bacon-cream cheese mixture.
4. In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and egg. Dip the filled vendace first into the egg-breadcrumb mixture.
5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
6. Serve warm, for example with rye bread and salad.
