A strongly flavored sauce that complements fish soups, mussels, and shrimp. It adds a unique taste to dishes and pairs perfectly with bread. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 cloves garlic- 1 small red chili
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon saffron (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Peel and crush the garlic cloves.2. Remove the seeds from the chili and finely chop it.
3. In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, olive oil, lemon juice, crushed garlic, chopped chili, and a pinch of saffron if using.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Stir all the ingredients together until the sauce is smooth and well combined.
6. Let the sauce chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before serving.
