This delicious and quick pasta carbonara recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner. It is full of flavor and takes only 20 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients:
- 400 g spaghetti
- 150 g bacon (or pancetta), diced
- 2 eggs
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, fry the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Add the crushed garlic and cook for another minute.
3. Whisk the eggs and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper.
4. Once the pasta is done, drain it and reserve a little cooking water.
5. Add the pasta to the skillet with the bacon and garlic. Remove the skillet from the heat and quickly mix in the egg mixture with the pasta. If needed, add a little reserved cooking water to achieve a creamy consistency.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
