Ingredients:
- 4-5 apples
- 200 g sugar
- 250 g butter
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 100 ml milk
- Vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the apples.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon until combined.
5. Pour in the milk and mix until the batter is smooth.
6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and arrange the apple slices on top.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 45-50 minutes or until the cake is cooked through.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
9. Serve the cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
