Tender and delicious ribs are easily made in the oven. Low temperatures ensure the meat becomes tender and the flavors develop beautifully. This recipe brings out the perfect flavors in your ribs!
Preparation Time: 3 hours
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 kg pork ribs
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 100 ml BBQ sauce (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 110°C (230°F).
2. Remove the membrane from the ribs and rinse them under cold water.
3. In a bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the ribs.
4. Place the ribs in a baking dish, bone side down. Cover the dish tightly with foil.
5. Bake the ribs in the oven for about 2.5 hours.
6. Remove the foil and, if desired, brush BBQ sauce over the ribs. Bake for an additional 15-30 minutes until the surface is nicely caramelized.
7. Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes before serving.
