Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 kg crawfish
- 1 dl salt
- 3 liters water
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 dl beer (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil, then add the salt and Cajun seasoning.
2. Stir in the crushed garlic and lemon slices, allowing the mixture to boil for about 5 minutes to blend the flavors.
3. Add the crawfish and diced bell peppers to the pot, cooking for an additional 10-15 minutes until the crawfish shells turn bright red.
4. Drain the crawfish and peppers, then transfer them to a large serving platter.
5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately. Optionally, enjoy with beer.
