Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., fettuccine or tagliatelle)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 100 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 100 ml fresh herbs (e.g., basil and parsley)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 50 g pine nuts, toasted
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for a few minutes until the garlic is soft.
3. Add the cream to the pan and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and allow it to melt into the sauce. Add reserved cooking water if the sauce is too thick.
5. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and mix well. Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
6. Serve the pasta topped with fresh herbs and toasted pine nuts.
