A delightful recipe that transports you to a French bistro with simple ingredients creating a rich and satisfying dish. Preparation time: 45 minutes.Ingredients:
- 400 g beef tenderloin- 4 potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
- 150 g green beans
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 50 g butter
- 100 ml red wine
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in salted water for about 15-20 minutes until tender.2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic cloves and rosemary, sauté for a few minutes.
3. Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper. Add it to the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
4. Pour red wine into the pan and let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly reduced.
5. Boil the green beans in salted water for about 5 minutes until crisp-tender.
6. Drain the potatoes and mash them with butter. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Serve the beef tenderloin with the mashed potatoes and green beans. Drizzle the red wine sauce over the dish.
