Ingredients:
- 4 beef steaks - 2 dl smoked beer
- 1 dl cream
- 100 g smoked cheese
- 800 g potatoes
- 100 g blue cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (e.g. parsley) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash them. 2. Add butter and blue cheese to the mashed potatoes. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and sear the steaks on both sides until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Pour the smoked beer into the skillet and let it simmer until reduced by half. Stir in the cream and crumbled smoked cheese until melted.
5. Serve the steaks with blue cheese potatoes, drizzling the smoked cheese sauce on top.
6. Garnish the plates with fresh herbs before serving.
