These savory waffles are made easily with puff pastry and are a perfect addition to a brunch. The filling features spiced tofu, adding flavor and texture.

Serving Size: 4-6 waffles

Ingredients:

- 1 package puff pastry (about 400 g)
- 200 g tofu
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or basil) to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it.
2. Thaw the puff pastry according to the package instructions.
3. Crumble the tofu into a bowl and add soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. Roll out the puff pastry into a thin sheet and cut it into appropriate shapes for the waffle iron.
5. Place a spoonful of the tofu mixture on one pastry piece and cover it with another pastry piece.
6. Place the filled pastry pieces onto the waffle iron and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the waffles are golden brown.
7. Serve warm with fresh herbs.
