Ingredients:

- 300 g liver (beef or chicken)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme (optional)
- 1 clove garlic (minced, optional)

Instructions:

1. Cut the liver into slices about 1 cm thick.
2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
3. Season the liver slices with salt, black pepper, and thyme.
4. Add the liver to the pan and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crispy.
5. If desired, add the minced garlic to the pan during the last few minutes of cooking.
6. Serve immediately, paired with a fresh salad or mashed potatoes.
