This delicious and creamy pasta carbonara is a classic Italian dish that comes together quickly and easily.

Ingredients:
- 300 g spaghetti
- 150 g bacon or pancetta
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 whole egg
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
2. Meanwhile, heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the bacon or pancetta. Cook until crispy.
3. Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for another minute until golden.
4. In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, whole egg, and grated Parmesan until smooth.
5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and reserve a little cooking water. Add the pasta to the pan with the bacon and garlic.
6. Remove the pan from the heat and quickly mix in the egg mixture with the pasta. Stir rapidly to create a creamy sauce without scrambling the eggs. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of reserved cooking water.
7. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
