Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
2. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
4. Sift in the all-purpose flour, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gently fold until the batter is smooth.
5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake is set but still slightly moist in the center.
7. Let the cake cool before serving. You can dust it with powdered sugar or decorate with berries if desired.
