Ingredients:
- 1 can large snails - 1 egg
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 g cold water
- 100 g cold beer
- Cooking oil
- Salt
Instructions:
1. Start by preparing the batter. Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk it until well mixed. 2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, then mix with the egg.
3. Add the cold water and beer to the mixture, whisking until smooth. Let the batter rest for about 30 minutes.
4. Pour oil into a deep pot and use a thermometer to heat the oil to 180°C (356°F).
5. Dip 4-6 snails into the batter at a time and carefully lower them into the hot oil.
6. Fry the snails until the batter is golden brown and crispy.
7. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried snails and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
8. Sprinkle a little salt over the snails and serve with a dip of your choice.
