Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for about 3 minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
