Ingredients
Crust:- 1 cup milk
- 25 g yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 egg
- 4-5 cups all-purpose flour
- 80 g butter (melted)
Filling:
- 250 g cream cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 egg
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/4 cup raisins
Instructions
1. Dissolve the yeast in warm milk.2. Add the egg, salt, sugar, and half of the flour to the mixture. Mix well.
3. Gradually add the remaining flour and knead the dough until elastic.
4. Incorporate the melted butter into the dough and knead until smooth. Let the dough rise under a cloth for about 30 minutes.
5. In a separate bowl, mix the filling ingredients until well combined.
6. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle, saving some for the lattice top.
7. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread the filling on top.
8. Create a lattice with the reserved dough over the filling and brush with egg.
9. Bake at 450°F (225°C) for about 25 minutes or until the pie is beautifully golden brown.
