A delicious and hearty French dish, perfect for après-ski moments. Preparation time is about 1 hour, serving size is 4-6 people.

Ingredients:

- 1 kg potatoes
- 200 g bacon
- 1 large onion
- 300 g Reblochon cheese
- 2 dl heavy cream
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh herbs (e.g., thyme or parsley) for garnish

Instructions:

1. Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water for about 15-20 minutes until almost tender. Drain and let cool.
2. Cut the bacon and onion into small pieces. Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy. Add the onions and cook until soft.
3. Slice the cooled potatoes. In a bowl, mix the potatoes, bacon, and onions. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Lightly grease a baking dish. Place half of the potato mixture on the bottom of the dish. Add half of the sliced Reblochon cheese on top.
5. Pour half of the heavy cream over the mixture. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
6. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 30 minutes until the cheese is melted and the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving. Enjoy warm!
