Ingredients:
- 1 cup quinoa
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- Berries, nuts, or any other toppings of your choice
Instructions:
1. Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under cold water in a strainer.
2. In a saucepan, cook the quinoa in almond milk over medium heat. Add a pinch of salt.
3. Once the mixture begins to boil, reduce the heat and cover the saucepan. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the quinoa is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract. Mix well.
