Ingredients

- 100 g butter
- 1 dl sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl milk
- 1 tsp baking powder

Filling

- 4-5 dl red currants
- 200 g cream cheese
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 dl heavy cream

Instructions

1. Beat the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg yolks one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. Alternately add the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture and stir until smooth.
3. Pour the batter into a greased pie dish and smooth the surface.
4. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown. Allow to cool.
5. Prepare the filling: beat the cream cheese with the sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth.
6. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
7. Spread the cream cheese filling over the cooled base and top with red currants.
8. Let the tart chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours before serving.
