These delightful pullat are the perfect addition to your coffee table or as a snack.
Ingredients:
- 2 dl milk- 50 g yeast
- 2 eggs
- 200 g margarine or butter
- 5 dl sugar
- 1 kg all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cardamom
- 1 egg (for brushing)
Instructions:
1. Warm the milk until it is lukewarm.2. Crumble the yeast into the milk and mix well.
3. Add the eggs, salt, sugar, and cardamom to the mixture. Stir until smooth.
4. Gradually add the flour while kneading the dough until it is elastic.
5. Incorporate the softened margarine or butter into the dough and knead for a little longer.
6. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
7. Shape the dough into buns and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. Brush the buns with beaten egg.
9. Bake the buns at 225°C (437°F) for about 10-15 minutes, until they are beautifully golden brown.
10. Allow to cool before serving.
