Ingredients

- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 200 g cream cheese
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 250 g melted butter
- 6 dl all-purpose flour
- 1.5 tsp cinnamon
- 6 eggs
- 100 g butter
- 4.5 dl sugar
- 1.5 tsp vanilla sugar
- 6 dl grated carrots
- 4 dl powdered sugar

Instructions

1. In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
2. Add the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar) to the egg mixture and mix well.
3. Incorporate the melted butter and cream cheese into the batter and mix until smooth.
4. Gently fold in the grated carrots using a wooden spatula.
5. Pour the batter into a greased pie dish.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 40-50 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
7. Allow to cool before dusting the top with powdered sugar.
