Pasta Carbonara is a delicious and creamy Italian dish that can be prepared quickly and easily. It's a perfect weeknight meal that always delights!

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g spaghetti
- 150 g bacon or pancetta, diced
- 3 eggs
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
2. Heat a frying pan and add the bacon or pancetta. Cook over medium heat until crispy.
3. Add the finely chopped garlic to the pan and sauté for another minute until golden brown.
4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and grated Parmesan cheese. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper.
5. Once the spaghetti is ready, drain it, reserving a bit of the cooking water. Add the spaghetti to the pan with the bacon.
6. Remove the pan from heat and quickly add the egg mixture to the spaghetti. Stir rapidly so that the eggs cook slightly from the residual heat. If needed, add a bit of reserved cooking water to create a creamy consistency.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
