A creamy and spiced dessert, perfect for the holiday season. Preparation Time: 15 minutes (plus chilling time)
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 dl heavy cream
- 1 dl granulated sugar
- ½ dl brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 tsp gingerbread spice mix
- 1 dl lemon or lime juice
For Garnish:
- Grated lime or lemon zest
- Brown sugar
- Festive decorations
- Berries
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and gingerbread spice mix. Mix well and bring to a gentle boil for 5 minutes.
2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the lemon or lime juice.
3. Divide the mixture into serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours until set.
4. Before serving, garnish the posset with brown sugar, grated lime or lemon zest, and any festive decorations or berries you like.
