This delicious Spinach Pasta Lasagna layers rich beef, fresh spinach, and creamy ricotta, topped with gooey mozzarella. A comforting dish perfect for family gatherings!
Ingredients:
- 500 g organic Italian pasta
- 700 g organic ground beef
- 411 g canned stewed Italian peeled tomatoes
- 300 g fresh spinach
- 200 g ricotta cheese
- 200 g grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until soft.
2. Add the ground beef to the skillet and brown it thoroughly. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
3. Stir in the canned peeled tomatoes and let the mixture simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
5. Rinse the fresh spinach and sauté it in the skillet until wilted. Mix the spinach with the ricotta cheese and season with salt and pepper if needed.
6. Prepare the lasagna by layering: Start with a layer of the beef mixture in a baking dish, followed by a layer of pasta, then the spinach-ricotta mixture, and finally a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella on top.
7. Bake the lasagna in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
8. Let it cool for a moment before serving. Enjoy!
