Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and lightly flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Transfer the melted mixture to a bowl and add the sugar. Mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate for decoration.
