Quick Fried Tofu

A delicious and easy meal perfect for busy days! This recipe is great for those who want to enjoy tofu. Feel free to add fresh vegetables to the pan for extra flavor and nutrition. Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 250 g firm, plain tofu - Approximately 3 cm piece of ginger
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dark sugar
- ½ dl water
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Fresh chili or Sriracha sauce to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Cut the tofu into cubes and place them in a pan to fry. Cook until the tofu is golden brown on the outside. 2. Add grated (or chopped) ginger, soy sauce, and dark sugar to the pan. Stir and pour in the vinegar and water.
3. Allow the water to evaporate, then add sesame seeds and chili to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.
4. Serve with whole grain noodles. You can add the cooked noodles to the pan towards the end to soak up the delicious flavors.
