These delicious skillet biscuits are quick and easy to make on a frying pan. They are a perfect breakfast idea for two to three people.Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 2-3 biscuits
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 0.5 cup flavored crème fraîche (such as pesto or paprika-chili)
- 2 tbsp water or milk
- + frying pan and baking parchment
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. Add the flavored crème fraîche to the bowl and combine to form a dough. Shape the dough into a few small balls.
3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and place baking parchment on the dry pan.
4. Flatten the dough balls into small rounds on the baking parchment. (If possible, cover the frying pan with a lid.)
5. Cook the biscuits for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
6. Enjoy immediately, split open, and spread with your favorite filling.
