A delicious and visually stunning dessert made of layers of colorful and flavorful pudding mixtures. Perfect for summer parties or special occasions.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes + setting
Serving Size: 6-8 servings

Ingredients:

- 5 gelatin sheets
- 1 vanilla bean
- 3 egg yolks
- 3-5 tablespoons sugar
- 4 dl milk
- 2 dl heavy cream
- A few drops of red food coloring
- 50 g dark chocolate (or Fazer chocolate)
- [Crushed meringues for garnish]

Instructions:

1. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 10 minutes.
2. Cut the vanilla bean in half and scrape the seeds into a saucepan. Add the whole vanilla bean, egg yolks, sugar, and milk to the saucepan. Mix well.
3. Heat the mixture over low heat until just before boiling, but do not let it boil.
4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and take out the vanilla bean. Squeeze excess water from the gelatin sheets and add them to the hot mixture. Stir until the gelatin is dissolved.
5. Allow the mixture to cool slightly and whip the cream until soft peaks form.
6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cooled mixture.
7. Divide the mixture into three parts. Color one part with red food coloring, another part with melted chocolate, and leave the third part white.
8. Layer the puddings into serving bowls carefully using a spoon to avoid mixing the colors.
9. Let the puddings set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
10. Garnish with crushed meringues before serving.
