Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the chocolate mixture, stirring until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the cake is set. You can check doneness by inserting a toothpick.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or serve with whipped cream for decoration.
