A soft and crusty baguette, perfect for bread lovers. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 1 baguette
Ingredients:
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp melted butter or oil
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 2 dl water
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, salt, and dry yeast.
2. Add the melted butter or oil and water to the dry ingredients.
3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is elastic.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise for 30 minutes.
5. Shape the dough into a baguette and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Allow the baguette to rise for another 15 minutes.
7. Bake the baguette in a preheated oven at 225°C (437°F) for 12-15 minutes, or until it is beautifully golden brown.
8. Let it cool before serving.
