Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti)
- 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute.
3. Add the crushed tomatoes to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
4. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the tomato sauce. Mix well.
5. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
