Delicious, fluffy blinis made from scratch. These blinis are the perfect treat for any occasion!
Preparation Time: 2 hours (includes rising time)
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl rice flour
- 1 dl milk
- 1 dl water
- 1 dl sour cream
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 eggs
- 100 g clarified butter
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, rice flour, dry yeast, salt, and sugar.
2. Add milk, water, and sour cream, and mix until a smooth batter forms.
3. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the batter rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and then add them to the batter. Mix well.
5. Heat a blini pan and add some clarified butter.
6. Pour batter onto the pan and cook the blini until golden brown on both sides.
7. Repeat until all the batter is used. Serve the blinis with your choice of toppings, such as sour cream, caviar, and onions.
