This delicious and creamy pasta with spinach sauce is quick and easy to prepare, perfect for a weeknight dinner. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 100 ml grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain the pasta, reserving some of the cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the crushed garlic and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until it has wilted and softened.
4. Pour the cream over the spinach and mix well. Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce. If necessary, add a little reserved pasta water to help the sauce coat the pasta.
7. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with extra Parmesan cheese.
