Creamy and delicious, this homemade almond milk lasts longer than traditional almond milk. It's a great alternative to dairy milk, perfect for coffee or other uses.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: About 600 ml

Ingredients:

- 200 g almonds
- 400 ml water (for soaking)
- 100 ml water (for blending)
- 1-2 tbsp sweetener (such as stevia)
- 1 tsp vanilla or cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

1. Soak the almonds in 400 ml of water for about 4 hours.
2. Drain the almonds and place them in a blender. Add 400 ml of water and blend until smooth.
3. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to extract the almond milk.
4. Blend the remaining almond pulp with 100 ml of water. Add this mixture to the previously strained almond milk.
5. If desired, add sweetener and spices (vanilla or cinnamon).
6. Pour the almond milk into a saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring until it begins to boil and thicken.
7. Remove the saucepan from heat as soon as the milk has thickened. Allow it to cool.
8. Strain again if desired and pour into a bottle. Store in the refrigerator.
