Ingredients:
- 3 overripe bananas- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3.5 ounces dark chocolate (chopped)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (325°F for convection).2. In a bowl, mash the bananas. Add the sugar, oil, and eggs, mixing well.
3. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until smooth.
5. Fold in the chopped dark chocolate gently.
6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
8. Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
