A delicious and creamy Italian pasta dish that combines spaghetti, crispy bacon, and a rich egg and cheese sauce.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g spaghetti
- 100 g bacon or guanciale
- 2 eggs
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 garlic clove
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Chop the bacon or guanciale into small pieces and cook in a pan over medium heat until crispy.
3. Add the minced garlic to the pan with the bacon and sauté for an additional minute.
4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper.
5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it but reserve a bit of the cooking water.
6. Combine the pasta with the bacon and garlic in the pan. Remove the pan from heat.
7. Pour the egg mixture over the pasta and stir quickly so the eggs cook gently with the residual heat. If the mixture is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to loosen it.
8. Serve immediately garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
